Hit-and-run suspected in death of Beulaville man

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old man found in a ditch along NC 24, east of Beulaville.

The body of Noah G. Inman was discovered by a postal worker on Monday morning. According to reports, when first responders arrived, they pronounced him dead at the scene.

The incident is believed to be a hit-and-run that occurred over the weekend according to authorities. Vehicle parts were found during a search of the area. More details to follow.
