WALLACE — Children laughing, people shopping and holiday cheer filled the area in and around the Wallace Depot Saturday night for the 2025 edition of Christmas at Twilight. Based on the reactions of everyone attending, the Depot was a hit serving as the new location for this year’s event.

In addition to the always-popular opportunity for kids to meet and talk to Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus in his official Wallace house, there was the smell of good food from a large variety of food trucks, a show of classic cars, dancers and singers at center stage, as well as an impressive group of vendors and beautifully decorated Christmas trees inside the Depot.
Everyone took a break from visiting all the sites in and outside the Depot to gather for the countdown for the all-lights Christmas tree.
In addition to the events and activities at the Depot, businesses in Downtown Wallace remained open Saturday night welcoming groups of visitors inside their festively decorated stores.
Despite a forecast calling for a 30% chance of showers, the weather cooperated nicely with an unusually mild November evening and temperatures hovering around 70 degrees for the entire evening.
Here are some sites captured during this year’s Christmas at Twilight.
