WALLACE — The North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks has appointed Jackie Nicholson as an at-large officer for the 2025–2026 term.
Nicholson, who serves as town clerk for the town of Wallace, will join the association’s leadership team, which provides training, resources and support to municipal clerks across the state. As an at-large officer, she will represent the interests of members, assisting with organizational initiatives, and helping to shape professional development programs.
The North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks is dedicated to advancing the professional standards and knowledge of municipal clerks.

“Nicholson brings significant municipal experience and has actively participated in programs and initiatives designed to support professional development across North Carolina,” stated the NCAMC announcement.
Members participate in workshops, networking events, and certification programs to enhance the management of municipal records, elections, and governance processes.
Nicholson’s appointment will be effective through 2026, during which she will collaborate with fellow officers to promote best practices and professional growth among clerks statewide.
