Do something for yourself and others too

The more you plant the better you do

I’m talking about trees that clean the air

They make for better health here and everywhere

So plant a tree or two to show you care

The shade they provide from the sun is free

There is nothing more beautiful than a flowering tree

Joyce Kilmer had it right in words he wrote for us to read

“I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree”

It’s a way to keep on giving long after you’re gone

So plant a tree or two my friend where birds can sing a song.
